We are happy to announce that Promessa has signed an agreement with a Promessa Representative for Mid-Atlantic United States!
“The interest for promession in North America is huge and growing. We talk almost daily with someone from Canada, Mexico or the US, so we are not surprised that we, by now can announce our 2nd Representative in North America, following our business model from 2016” says Susanne Wiigh-Mäsak, CEO and Founder of Promessa. “For us it is all about finding the right people and organizations to represent Promessa. We take the time necessary to make sure our Representatives have the required experience and dedication, the right corporate fit and through our due diligence period shows that we can interact in the best of ways. Dennis Edwards and his team from their company Promessa Mid-Atlantic, LLC, has shown us that they are ticking all the boxes and we are very glad to wish them welcome to our growing Promessa Representative team.”
Promessa Mid-Atlantic, LLC is located in Maryland, USA and its CEO Dennis Edwards explains his interest for Promessa like this: “I encountered Promessa, maybe 5 or 6 years ago while at a National Funeral Directors’ Association conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Although I’m not a funeral director, I’m an owner of a mortuary transport business and often attend funeral director/morticians’ events to keep up with the latest in mortuary transport equipment and supplies. Additionally, I’m an Organ Procurement Coordinator with the federally designated Organ Procurement Organization serving US region 2. These two occupations bring me in constant contact with human remains and discussions regarding their final disposition. It is my work with organ procurement that has shaped my thinking about the human body as a resource and my education from Promessa’s Masterclass that allows me to see how human remains, can again (as in pre-tribal times) be a functional part of terrestrial restoration. The final disposition of human remains should not be a matter of disposal, but an opportunity to insert it back into the cycle of life.”
Promessa Mid-Atlantic, LLC is the representative in Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware and Washington D.C.
Promession is an environmentally friendly method developed to take care of human remains after death. The concept focuses on letting nature’s preferred method of aerobic decomposition take place. This avoids the creation of methane gas and pollution of groundwater, which are environmental problems with traditional burials. For those who prefer ashes and cremation, Promessa has also developed a clean cremation method, which releases significantly less pollutants, like furans and NOx. Promessa can also guarantee Zero Mercury and Zero Dioxin release, which is impossible with the existing methods of today.
